Post Conviction Relief (PCR)

Arizona Post Conviction Relief Lawyers

When an individual enters a plea agreement, their only avenue for appeal is through rule 32 post conviction relief. At the law office of Leyh, Billar, & Associates, we have extensive experience handling post conviction relief (PCR) actions. It is our goal to protect our clients' rights and freedom. Contact our post conviction lawyersfor a free consultation.

Rule 32 of Arizona Criminal Procedure

If an individual enters a plea bargain, they do not have the right to file a direct appeal. Rather, they must file a PCR motion to appeal plea agreement issues, legal representation issues, or other constitutional rights issues. PCR actions often benefit from an experienced post conviction lawyer to can guide you. Our firm has successfully handled many PCR cases and knows how to identify the issues to rise.

If Post Conviction Relief Is Denied

Once a PCR request is denied, an individual is allowed to enter the appeals process. We diligently represent our clients throughout the entire process while striving to protect their rights.

Experience helps

If you would like to file for post conviction relief - do not delay consulting an experienced attorney. Many time sensitive issues must be addressed within ninety (90) days of a conviction. However, if you decide to file a pro se post conviction relief request (without an attorney), be aware that if any issues are not properly addressed, they cannot be readdressed later.

For aggressive representation, contact our post conviction relief attorneys for a free consultation 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
