The following are some of our recent results on behalf of our clients: Aggravated Assault: Class 2, Dangerous, on a Police Office
Two police officers claimed they saw our client selling drugs to a person on the street. They grabbed the client and forced him to remove his hand from his pocket, which revealed that the client was holding a large knife. The police officer immediately pulled out his gun and our client dropped the knife and ran off with the officer in pursuit. The second police officer joined the chase and tackled our client. Resisting Arrest, Class 6 Felony Result: Client was found NOT GUILTY after a jury trial.
Two Counts of Endangerment: Class 6 Dangerous Felony
Our client was accused of recklessly driving an eighteen-wheeler down the freeway. The police tried to stop him. He was charged with endangering the lives of police officers. Result: Client was found NOT GUILTY of these charges.
Aggravated Assault: Class 4 Felony
Our client was at a bar when a fight broke out. During the fight, our client bit off the finger of one of the bar's patrons. Result: Client was found NOT GUILTY after a jury trial.
First Degree Murder, with Premeditation: Dangerous Felony
Our client was accused of killing his wife of 30 years by shooting her with a handgun with a silencer attached. Forensic evidence was discovered indicating that the wife's boyfriend may have been the last person to see the client's wife alive. Result: Client was found NOT GUILTY after a jury trial
Child Molestation: Class 2 Felony, Dangerous Crime Against Children (DCAC) Attempted Sexual Assault: Class 3 Felony, DCAC
A 12-year-old neighbor accused her 25-year-old next door neighbor, our client, of trying to kiss her while she was inside of his house. The 12-year-old was seen entering our client's home and a few minutes later, she was seen running from our client's house to her house next door. After she complained to her parents about our client, the police were called and our client was arrested. Result: After a trial, Client was found NOT GUILTY on both charges.
Felony Murder: Dangerous Felony
In a drug deal that turned into a drug rip-off, our client introduced the two drug buyers to the drug supplier. The two buyers revealed a large amount of money to the supplier in order to induce the supplier to do the transaction. Instead, the supplier shot the two drug buyers, one of whom died. Although our client was not directly involved in the rip off, he was involved in the drug transaction that resulted in the death of one of the co defendants. Armed Robbery: Class 2, Dangerous Felony Attempted Second Degree Murder: Class 2, Dangerous Felony Result: Through plea negotiations, the charges were reduced from Felony Murder to Manslaughter.
